This policy explains how Tranquility Peace Massage handles information through our website, online booking and purchases, and inquiries. Contact us using the details below if you have questions about your information.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. We receive information needed to respond to you and provide requested services, such as your name, email address, phone number, appointment details, purchases, and messages or form responses. Information you choose to include in booking or intake forms may include massage preferences or health-related information.

Bookings, purchases, and accounts. We use Acuity Scheduling for online appointments, packages, gift certificates, and subscriptions. Acuity and the payment provider used at checkout handle the information entered in their booking and payment interfaces. We receive appointment, order, and payment-status information needed to administer your booking or purchase. If you use a customer account, the platform providing that account manages its sign-in credentials and account features.

Website and measurement information. Squarespace and our measurement tools may collect information such as pages visited, referral sources, browser and device details, cookie identifiers, interactions, and IP addresses. These identifiers can relate to a person or device; they are not necessarily anonymous. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses, although IP addresses are used during processing.

2. How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries; arrange and manage appointments; fulfill purchases; send booking updates, reminders, receipts, and other service communications; maintain business records; protect our website and services; and understand website use and advertising effectiveness.

If you opt in to promotional communications, we may send offers or news about our services. You can unsubscribe using the option in a promotional message or contact us directly.

3. Providers and information sharing

We use providers to operate our website, scheduling, payments, communications, analytics, and advertising:

  • Squarespace hosts our website and provides site features and analytics. It processes technical information about visitors and information submitted through its features. See Squarespace’s Privacy Policy.

  • Acuity Scheduling and checkout payment providers process booking and purchase information to provide their services and help us administer appointments and transactions. Acuity is a Squarespace service. Review the privacy information provided by the payment service used at checkout.

  • Google Analytics and Google Ads receive measurement information through the integrations described below. See how Google uses information from partner sites and apps.

We do not sell or rent our customer contact list. We do disclose information to the providers described here for the purposes explained in this policy. Those disclosures should not be understood as a promise that information never reaches an analytics or advertising provider.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tranquility Peace Massage or others.

4. Analytics and advertising measurement

We use Google Analytics to understand website and booking activity and Google Ads tools to measure advertising results. These services can use cookies and similar technologies and receive page URLs, identifiers, device/browser information, and interaction data. Google’s handling of this information depends on the service and relevant settings.

Our Acuity Analytics integration can report completed bookings and purchases with details such as appointment or product name, transaction value, currency, and coupon information. Our Analytics and Ads accounts are linked, allowing measurement information to be used for advertising reporting and features according to their configuration.

You can review Google’s advertising controls and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. These controls have different scopes; they do not necessarily stop all information collection by our website, Squarespace, Acuity, or other providers.

5. Cookies and your choices

Our website and linked booking services use cookies and similar technologies for functions such as account access, transactions, analytics, and advertising measurement. Some measurement tools may collect information when a page loads.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect booking, payment, account, or other website functions. Booking pages, payment services, and other external sites may have their own cookie controls. Changing a setting on one service does not necessarily change settings on another.

6. Security and retention

We take reasonable precautions to protect information. Online booking and payment information is also handled by the providers operating those services. No website, transmission method, or storage system can guarantee complete security.

We retain information as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, maintaining business records, and meeting legal or contractual obligations. The relevant purpose and obligations affect how long information must be kept.

Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, or to ask about our handling of it. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
